New Director at Bodmin Keep – Helen Bishop-Stephens

I’m delighted to take up the post as Director of Cornwall’s Army Museum at Bodmin Keep. I’m from Cornwall and have found a family connection to the Keep in that my grandad and his brother both trained at the barracks.

This is an exciting time to be at the museum: visitor numbers are recovering post-pandemic, and there are well-developed plans to renovate and refresh the historic Keep and displays.

We are about to launch our fundraising campaign to update the visitor facilities and you can find out more about this and our Journey to 2030: Keeping the Keep campaign on the ‘Support Us’ pages on our website.
