Cornwall’s Citizen Army Exhibition!
We have a fantastic NEW Exhibition installed at the museum, and we are hoping that you will all be able to come and see it as soon as we can safely open the museum once again to the public!
‘Cornwall’s Citizen Army’ tells the story of Cornwall’s Territorial Army volunteers, from Victorian times with the formation of the Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry, to the important role they played in both World Wars, and their work in recent decades . The exhibition includes some fascinating objects and photographs of the Drill Halls where the Territorial Army groups met and trained each week in many towns across Cornwall.
