Get ready to be taken over!
We have Meggie Slater who has previously carried out work experience at Bodmin Keep, taking over our social media accounts all day on Friday 26th June!
The takeover day is organised by Kids in Museums
This national event gives us the opportunity to shout about the value of culture and heritage to young people. It helps museums to see their collections in a new light and get a better idea of what young people are interested in. Meggie will be using the hashtag #TakeoverDay which has trended on Twitter and reached millions of people.
Normally on a Digital Takeover Day, young people are based at the museum or heritage site to explore and document what goes on behind-the-scenes. However, this year due to the Corona Virus Pandemic and museums being currently closed, Meggie has had to come up with a new narrative and will be at home and talking to our audiences about all things heritage, museums, culture, Bodmin Keep and more!
We cant wait to see what she gets up too!
